We are seeking current/upcoming college graduates willing to collaborate, innovate, and team with our engineers to generate and utilize todays cutting-edge technology to design digital electronics circuits that implement missile guidance, video and digital signal processing.
Our technology base includes high-speed digital electronics, configurable logic, and homogeneous / heterogeneous multiprocessor designs.
The Mission Computers and Processors Department designs digital electronic circuit cards and electronic units which are supported from proposal through transition to production.
Our systems are subject to environments ranging from the frigid, sub-zero vacuum of space, to the blistering heat of the desert floor, to the high pressures of the ocean depths.
Job Description A Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) candidate with interests, studies, research or experience with technical theories and concepts in digital design, with general knowledge of other related disciplines.
The REA provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
This position will function in a multi-disciplined design team.
As an REA the candidate will be responsible for hardware design, fabrication, assembly, test, and integration of a circuit card.
Designs include processors, FPGAs, memory, and industry interfaces, such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, UART.
Candidates will work with technical lead to determine and develop solutions that contribute to the completion of specific programs and projects.
All Candidates will work within a larger team at Raytheon.
An REA performs meaningful engineering tasks for their assigned projects, but will also have access to a variety of career development opportunities.
These include access to technical mentors and the ability to shadow experienced Raytheon professionals in order to better learn about real industry positions.

Security Clearance as of day one of employment

Required Skills:
Course work in one or more of the following areas: circuit design, digital electronics, lab course work, PCB design and signal integrity.

Desired Education (including Major): Pursuing or have obtained within the past 18 months a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 is desired.
This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
Except in rare circumstances, only U.S.
citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement.

We are Raytheon Missile Systems RMS and we design, develop and produce missile systems for critical requirements, including air-to-air, strike, surface Navy air defense, land combat missiles, guided projectiles, exoatmospheric kill vehicles, and directed energy weapons. The Electrical Subsystems Directorate ESD at RMS performs hardware development and product support for missile systems, from concept to manufacturing. The vision of ESD is to be the best provider of integrated and affordable electrical subsystems and guidance sections through technical innovation and functionally strong partnerships. The Subsystems Center, within ESD, is currently searching for a Department Manager to lead the Land Warfare Systems (LWS) and Naval and Area Mission Defense (NAMD) Department. This department is primarily responsible for designing, integrating, and sustaining state of the art electrical/optical subsystems. This leader will be critical in development and sustainment of key relationships with program managers and chief engineers in the LWS and NAMD product lines and within the Engineering organization. The department will work with other core technology elements within ESD to meet the needs of the LWS and NAMD product lines.
