Asan ElectricalStaff Design Engineer in Moog's Aircraft Group, you will develop complexelectrohydraulic, electromechanical, and electropneumatic components andsystems that will become the new products of Moog, Inc. You will plan andconduct efforts requiring authoritative judgment in the evaluation, selection,and substantial adaptation and modification of standard and nonstandardengineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. Lastly, you'll independentlydevises new approaches for the problems encountered and plans and coordinatesthe work of others on major engineering projects.

Here'swhat you'll work on:
Electronic box architect for flight controlcomputers and/or motor control electronics used in military and commercialaviation
Contribute to proposals for new aircraft platformsin accordance with customer requirements responsible for technical conceptgeneration and requirement compliance
Mature system architecture/requirements alongsidesystems engineering team and other engineering disciplines
Develop/maintain requirements for electronics box
Facilitate design of electronics boxes to cost,reliability and schedule targets
Facilitate design for manufacturing
Lead team of engineers (mechanical, SW, digital,analog, power, etc.) in development/design of the electronics boxes
Design of electronics box hardware, software,firmware, algorithms, power devices, feedback circuits
Design boxes to meet EMI requirements of application
Design of high power inverters and gate drives tocontrol motors
Design of control electronics consisting ofmicroprocessors and FPGAs
Oversee and review electrical design analyses handcalculations (first order) and dynamic simulations (matlab, Simulink, pSpice,etc.)
Technical POC for customer, program and vendors
Create requirements for electronics box testequipment
Create development/qualification electronics boxtest procedures
Mentor and coach other engineers within theelectronics department

At least a BS in Engineering
Extensive experience creating mechanical designs ofelectrohydraulic, electromechanical and/or electropneumatic servomechanisms ortheir control electronics.
