Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales and manufacturing locations globally. Job Overview: The primary responsibility of this position is to set up and solder coax wires to printed circuit boards per assembly process instructions.
Perform rework/touch-up. Note: This position is not eligible for Relocation or Visa Sponsorship. Job Requirements: Soldering Skills and Certification: Basic knowledge and understanding of IPC 610 and IPC J-STD-001 soldering requirements. Must have prior experience with soldering (coaxial) wire leads onto printed circuit board, using soldering iron per IPC Standards.
Responsible to perform self-inspections of product using magnifying devices or electronic test equipment to ensure parts and assemblies meet production/ customer specifications and IPC Standards. Ability to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.
Possesses attention to detail and problem solving skills.
Working knowledge and understanding of schematics. Ability to operate hot bar solder machine Fine motor skills and dexterity; vision - able to utilize microscope Ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to work independently and as a team player within a small team.
Must be able to use a computer, read mechanical drawings and written instructions.
Performs other duties as assigned to achieve company goals and objectives. This is a full-time position.
Overtime may be required including starting early, staying late, and or working weekends. Our company is ITAR registered. As a result, any candidate we hire must be a US Citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident.
If you are chosen for an interview, part of the process will be a soldering evaluation at our facility. We will supply the equipment for this test. We are looking for both accuracy and speed.
