Electrical Schematic Technician
Your tasks
Drawing the electrical schematic sets and wiring documents according to DIN EN 15380 with the E3 program
Conceptual design and layout of cable routes, separation points and connector concepts
Close collaboration with other disciplines (electrical installation planning, electrical engineering)
Preparation and control of production documentation (terminal diagrams, parts lists, wiring tables, wiring harness drawings, bill of materials)
Maintenance and extension of the E3 article database
Support the control cabinet pre-assembly and the final assembly on the vehicles
Change management of production documents
Your profile
BSEE or Electronic Engineering Technician (EET) degree from an accredited (ABET or similar) institution
0-2 (I), 2-5 (II), 5-8 (III), 8-10 (IV) or 10+ (Sr.) years of relevant experience in schematic drawing for control cabinets, rail vehicles, aircraft, or trucks.
Experience with schematic software (e.g. E3 or Ruplan)
Experience with PLM systems and ECN systems (e.g. SmarTeam)
Experience in electrical / mechanical CAD design (e.g. Catia V5) is a plus
Team player with a high sense of responsibility and initiative
High degree of social competence, accuracy and adherence to deadlines in an international environment
Business fluent in English; basic German language skills desirable
Willingness to travel to Europe for training
