ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Must have complete focus on the quality of electronics sub-assemblies from base prototype designs through manufacturing at high volume.
Will work closely with different departments and outside suppliers at every stage of the development and life of the product to ensure quality standards are met.
Will represent the Quality Department in new product development, testing, supplier manufacturing, root cause analysis, development of testing fixtures, and creating standard operating procedures.
Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and reliable with a strong ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electronics.
Must be able to work independently, with limited supervision, as well as part of a team.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be computer literate.
Occasional travel, both foreign and domestic, may be required.
After hours communication with foreign vendors may be necessary.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
BS in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Technology is preferred.
An electronics technology certification will be considered based on individual knowledge and experience.
Must have strong circuit analysis and troubleshooting skills.
Must have a strong understanding of AC/DC circuits, AC/DC motors, digital logic, and a basic understanding of software design, application design, web API's, and microcontrollers.
Basic comprehension of ESD, IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and LabVIEW is also preferred.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations.
Ability to write business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical analysis, fundamentals of plane and solid geometry, and trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
