Our Georgia-Pacific Green Bay Broadway facility is searching for an Electrical Mechanical Technician to work in our Maintenance department Hoist Reliability team. This position works Monday through Friday from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm.

The Green Bay Broadway Mill manufactures and distributes leading commercial and retail brands of paper products (bath tissue, napkins, and towels). Every day, GP employees and products help maintain a strong, stable economy in Northeastern Wisconsin.

What You Will Do
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on cranes and hoists.
Perform and document inspections.
Self-Manage Hoist and Crane backlog, ensuring all repairs and inspections are completed on time based on priority.
Ability to work from heights, mainly from a lift (scissors, genie boom) or a boom crane.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with others. (Experience communicating with all levels of the organization via reports, email, verbally, and/or in small/large group settings, within a team environment.)
Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling for up to eight (8) hours a day.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
High school diploma or GED
One or more of the following:
At least two (2) years of work experience as a mechanical or electrical technician in a manufacturing, industrial or military environment.
At least two (2) years' experience performing maintenance on cranes and/or hoists.
Electrical or Mechanical Journeyman.
A two (2) year technical degree or higher in the electro-mechanical or industrial maintenance field.
Completion of a mechanical or electrical apprenticeship program.

3rd-party crane certifications
Experience and understanding of precision maintenance practices
