Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime availability
• On-call for plant breakdowns

Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be pivotal in maintaining and enhancing our plant manufacturing equipment and electrical systems. Your expertise will contribute to the continuous improvement of our operations through the design and installation of innovative equipment retrofits. As a self-starter who thrives both independently and as part of a team, you will lead the way in training our technicians while reporting to the Maintenance Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Ensure all equipment is kept in optimal condition through regular checks and servicing.
• Troubleshoot Equipment Malfunctions: Diagnose issues swiftly to minimize downtime.
• Repair Plant Electrical Systems: Provide reliable solutions to electrical problems.
• Test Electronics: Conduct thorough testing to guarantee functionality.
• Design Equipment Upgrades: Innovate and improve with custom upgrades.
• Build Machine Control Panels: Craft control panels that enhance machine efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficient in programming AC/DC drives and Siemens PLCs.
• Skilled in using electrical test equipment (e.g., Multimeters, power monitors, infrared imaging tools).
• Competent in AutoCAD for designing purposes.
• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in an Industrial Electrician or Electronics Technician role.
