Electrical Journeyman

Are you looking for an exciting career as an Electrical Journeyman? If so, we have the job for you. Working under minimal supervision, the Electrician is responsible for layout, installation, repair and preventive maintenance of complex electrical equipment and circuits, troubleshooting and technical expertise on control systems.


*Analyze and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in equipment and related components, diagnosing and correcting the problems quickly to avoid production delays

  • Perform electrical preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment

  • Responsible for layout and installation of electrical equipment, power systems and repair of electrical equipment Promote teamwork and show a willingness to work with other departments

  • Participate in continuous improvement activities

  • Follow established safety procedures according to OSHA standards and company procedures

  • Adhere to the principles of the GMS-Global Manufacturing System. "The Global Manufacturing System is a single, common manufacturing system that engages all employees to use best processes, practices, and technologies to eliminate waste throughout the enterprise."

Working hours: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM


*Working knowledge and diagnostic capabilities of industrial process equipment operations, sequencing, and error proofing

  • Experience in panel wiring, machine tool construction and installation

  • Capable of troubleshooting process equipment issues utilizing a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) (Rockwell preferred)

  • Able to operate and troubleshoot robots (Fanuc Robot experience preferred)

  • Possess a general knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance principles

  • Familiarity with industrial vision systems (Cognex, Banner and Perceptron), variable frequency drives, and industrial electrical standards (NEC, NFPA 70E, 70B, 79) - Ability to work in elevated position (from lifts, etc.)

  • Working knowledge of communication systems (Device net, Ethernet & Profinet).

*Ability to read and interpret drawings and wiring schematics - Strong problem solving and computer skills


*U.S. Department of Labor Completion of Apprenticeship Certificate as an Electrician or eight (8) years of documented experience as an industrial electrician (notarized documentation required)

  • Ability to work any shift and work some overtime including daily, weekend, and holidays

VIEW JOBS 1/12/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-12T00:00 Primary Purpose: This position is part of the Morning Pointe Operations Team, a resident-focused, high performance, high commitment work team that supports the Morning Pointe purpose of "partnering with families in meeting the challenges of life". The food service staff is responsible for making sure that quality food and beverages are served in accordance with Morning Pointe Policies and Procedures and local food service regulations. Qualifications/Skills Needed: Experience in food preparation work in a service environment is preferred. Strong verbal and written communications skills are essential. Demonstrated support and understanding of the philosophy of Morning Pointe and the five domains of health (physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, and social) is required. A flexible work schedule is also a necessity. Must be able to read, write and speak the English language. Will need to be 18 years of age or older. Duties include, but are not limited to: * Work with the entire Morning Pointe team to build relationships and strong communication with residents and families to ensure adjustment to the community, identification of needs and problems, and the development of an appropriate plan of service for each individual resident. * Responsible for the preparation and cooking of balanced, nutritious meals for all residents and associates, including those served at special events. * Check menus daily for any required advance preparation. * Responsible for portion control, following the menus, and plate presentation for each meal. * Assist in serving meals and tray preparation for residents as required. * Participate in food and equipment inventory as assigned. * Assist in removing dishes and trays from dining room. * Clean dining room, tables, chairs, floors, etc. * Clean food preparation area, including utensils used and equipment; wash dishes, take out trash, mop floors. * Ensure that all electrical and gas appliances are turned off before leaving kitchen area and at end of a shift. * Responsible for locking and securing the kitchen area before leaving that area and at the end of a shift. * Responsible for the daily cleaning and weekly deep cleaning of the kitchen dish room, pantry and dining room. * Cook to follow recipes according to Morning Pointe standards. * Carry out special duties or projects as assigned. Physical Demands: This position is classified as HEAVY, requiring exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift/move objects. Functional requirements including constant standing and walking. Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, bending, turning and stretching. Finger and hand dexterity required. Visual and hearing acuity along with the ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions are essential. The ability to perform basic mathematical computations is required.
