About the role

As an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, you will work safely to maintain, diagnose, and repair various types of plant equipment, this includes maintenance related to electrical and control equipment, repair and operation of, motor control centers, PLC's, VFD's and other plant electrical equipment ranging from 120V to 13.8kv, and AC switchgear.

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical maintenance work related to the plant and its associated equipment, including but not limited to, pumps, fans, motors, conveyors, and controls

• Trouble shoot, assess, inspect, and make repairs, as needed to the Allen Bradley PLC and related equipment.

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks, which include but are not limited to, routine cleaning of MCC's, lighting, Emergency and Exit signs.

• Operate various Multimeter, amp probe, calibration equipment and perform electrical and instrumentation maintenance and repair work as assigned using proper Reworld safety practices.

• Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation problems and complete all maintenance work records.

• Actively participate in plant shutdown work including teardown inspection of electrical plant equipment.

• Maintain work area and tools in clean and orderly manner as well as performing plant and shop housekeeping chores.

• Complete Reworld safety, compliance, and other required training / certification within the assigned timelines.

• Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the E&I management team.

• Ability to read and understand electrical blueprint

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• At least 3 years of relevant experience with a strong preference for candidates with formalized technical training or apprenticeship

• An ability to be "on-call" occasional weeknights or weekends

• An ability to be flexible with work shift during major break downs
