IBEW Electrical Inspector/UAV Field Supervisor

SkySkopes is looking for an electrically qualified individual to support inspections using UAS technology in the California market. The Electrical Inspector/UAV Field Supervisor will provide field supervision of work crews and assist management by monitoring and assigning duties to field crews. Additionally, the Electrical Inspector /UAV Field Supervisor will serve as the point person for field crews and will work collaboratively with Pilots, Inspectors, VO's and Management to: establish, maintain and encourage safe, high-quality, professional work. The Electrical Inspector /UAV Field Supervisor will also support routine and rapid response inspections for our energy customers as needed. Additional operations will be supporting inspection operations, conducting training, mentoring field crews, consulting and providing management with constant updates, organizing and assigning duties to field crew and performing safety inspections. The Electrical Inspector /UAV Field Supervisor will align with SkySkopes innovative, professional and ethical mentality. The Electrical Inspector /UAV Field Supervisor will report to the Assistant Operations Manager or Operations Manager as directed.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Ensure flight crews have all operational equipment needed to perform inspections

• Support inspectors across multiple teams to ensure correct identification and reporting of defects

• Become proficient in the customers inspection program

• Provide feedback and train crews to identify defects

• Join customer meetings to serve as the inspection supervisor

• Issue assignments to field crews to operate and perform inspections as directed by management

• Responsible for maintaining focus on daily operational tasks of inspection field crews

• Establish, maintain, and encourage SkySkopes company culture among team

• Promote a professional atmosphere for the team, to include positive customer interactions, client relations, equipment care, and vehicle cleanliness

• Collect and secure crew SD cards and paperwork from crews at the conclusion of daily operations and then collate, upload and disseminate as directed by management and GIS support team

• Responsible for uploading data remotely using approved SkySkopes methods and software

• Coordinate morning, afternoon, and additional field briefs as needed

• Assistant with the coordination and day to day logistics of field crews as needed

• Provide input to managers on the performance of individual team members through verbal feedback and written documentation

• Rapid response to the needs of team members in the field to include: charging batteries, vehicle problems, investigation of accidents, providing keys, answering crew questions, replacing defective equipment, etc.

• Attend operational meetings for updates, evaluations, training, and mission planning

• Perform related duties as assigned
