Electrical Inspector

Performs difficult skilled technical work applying adopted codes and ordinances to achieve desired outcomes of maintaining public health and safety with regard to the built environment through field inspection, plan reviews, and conferring with contractors, homeowners, architects, engineers, designers, and other staff, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Building Official.

Limited oversight is exercised over Other Electrical Inspectors.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:- Thorough knowledge of building fundamentals and procedures.- High school diploma or GED.- Considerable experience as a licensed electrician working in both the commercial and residential fields.- A commitment to and belief in Minnetonka's shared values.- Valid driver's license.
