Pay: $27-30/hr. (negotiable based on experience level)

Shift: Day shift hours - 7am to 4pm (Mon-Fri)

Description:

• Seeking a skilled Electrical Industrial Maintenance Technician with expertise in editing programs on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and troubleshooting electrical systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical equipment and systems within our industrial facility to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in PLC programming edits, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including motors, drives, sensors, and control circuits.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Experience with preventive maintenance schedules
• Self-starter with initiative to start projects as they are needed.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Duties:

• Edit and update programs on PLCs to improve machine performance and address issues.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on PLC systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in industrial equipment, including motors, drives, sensors, and control systems.
• Perform corrective actions to resolve electrical malfunctions and minimize downtime.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve electrical problems.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on electrical systems and equipment.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records.
• Recommend improvements to maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Install and commission new electrical equipment and systems.
• Upgrade existing electrical systems to enhance performance and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes during installations.
