Minimum 10 years' experience in LV, MV, and HV electrical power distribution equipment and controls.
Specific experience in electrical power generation equipment.
Experience with PLC software and programming.
Field experience with operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of facility distribution power systems up to 13.8KV.
Field experience with operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of switchyard equipment up to 230KV.
Experience in AC power generation controls, protection, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Experience with electromechanical protection relays and solid-state protection relays.
Knowledge of tools and specialized equipment and procedures to maintain and test power system metering, control, and protective relay equipment.
Knowledge to interpret test results and recommend corrective actions based on these results.
Knowledge of electrical theory and instruments and ability to do troubleshooting.
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and instruction manuals
Must be able to work in operating power generation facility with OSHA required PPE.
Approximately 80% of work time will be at company facilities during outage times or other scheduled or unscheduled maintenance intervals.
Must be able to climb several flights of stairs during outages when elevators may be out of service.
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays on short notice.
