The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs and resources required for various electrical projects, ensuring competitive and profitable bids.

This role involves analyzing blueprints, collaborating with project managers, and ensuring that projects stay within budget while meeting all regulatory and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for electrical projects.

Determine the amount, type, and cost of materials and fixtures needed for each project. Assess labor requirements and calculate the potential profitability of projects to assist management in making informed bidding decisions. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop accurate and competitive bids.

Provide viable solutions to increase project profitability and efficiency. Stay updated with industry standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and optimal project outcomes. Maintain detailed records of estimates, proposals, and project documentation.

Qualifications: Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction or electrical contracting industry. Strong understanding of electrical systems, materials, and construction methods. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of Florida’s electrical codes and regulations is a plus.
