JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: •

  • Assemble electrical and electronic systems.
  • Build, calibrate, and repair electrical instruments or testing equipment.
  • Assemble, test and maintain circuitry or electronic components according to engineering instructions, knowledge of electronic and technical manuals.
  • Read wiring diagrams and install controls and components per diagram requirements. • Identify solutions to technical design problems that arise in making electrical systems.
  • Adjust and replace defective circuitry and electronic components.
  • Inspect designs for quality control, report findings and recommend changes.
  • Draw diagrams and write specifications about design installations.
  • Diagnose and repair any issues found during initial testing.
  • Perform voltage changes and breaker upgrades on generators based on customer requirements.
  • Assist in final package testing.
  • Re-wire, adjust and install control panels and voltage regulators

Requirements

  • In-depth understanding of electricity, electrical components and/or generator technology.
  • In-depth understanding of engine controls (CAT Data Link, J1939, CAN)
  • Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of experience working in equivalent electrical field.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair 120-480VAC and 12-24VDC electrical issues.
  • Exceptional communication skills to work with team and customers directly on occasion.
  • Proficient with estimating time required to complete tasks.
  • Experience working with low to medium voltage.
