Build, calibrate, and repair electrical instruments or testing equipment.
Assemble, test and maintain circuitry or electronic components according to engineering instructions, knowledge of electronic and technical manuals.
Read wiring diagrams and install controls and components per diagram requirements. • Identify solutions to technical design problems that arise in making electrical systems.
Adjust and replace defective circuitry and electronic components.
Inspect designs for quality control, report findings and recommend changes.
Draw diagrams and write specifications about design installations.
Diagnose and repair any issues found during initial testing.
Perform voltage changes and breaker upgrades on generators based on customer requirements.
Assist in final package testing.
Re-wire, adjust and install control panels and voltage regulators
Requirements
In-depth understanding of electricity, electrical components and/or generator technology.
In-depth understanding of engine controls (CAT Data Link, J1939, CAN)
Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of experience working in equivalent electrical field.
Ability to diagnose and repair 120-480VAC and 12-24VDC electrical issues.
Exceptional communication skills to work with team and customers directly on occasion.
Proficient with estimating time required to complete tasks.
