Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

As a part of the high-speed signal integrity team the candidate will focus on the electrical design, modeling, and/or testing of high speed TE Connectivity products. The candidate is expected to independently work on projects in the areas of signal integrity for product and system design including modeling, simulation, testing and circuit board layout.

Training and mentor relationships will be provided to help ensure success. The candidate will be responsible for the signal integrity performance of a program during one or more of the project stages including initial analysis through prototype fabrication and testing. The position requires that the candidate regularly interface with engineering, manufacturing, and marketing teams to guide and assist with the design.

Qualifications:

Candidate must be working toward a BSEE or MSEE with excellent verbal and written communication skills, be highly motivated, be a quick learner, and be able to work independently. Understanding of signal integrity principles, printed circuit board design or electrical testing is advantageous.

Familiarity with the following tools is a plus:

  • Printed circuit board design, fabrication and assembly (Altium, AutoCAD)
  • Signal integrity analysis tools (Agilent ADS, Ansys HFSS)
  • Test equipment (oscilloscope, vector network analyzer)
  • Test parameters (insertion loss, return loss, noise, jitter, eye patterns, skew, impedance)
  • Communication systems (high-speed servers, switches, routers, storage)
  • Signal conditioning techniques (equalization, amplification)
  • Connector and cable assembly design

Responsibilities & Qualifications The Marketing summer intern will be involved in working closely with key stakeholders to learn the business and assist in driving marketing strategies. Looking for a quick thinking and strategic marketer to work on projects such as: * Social Media --- project to better understand and identify how social media activities are driving quantifiable demand for Data and Devices products. Will include an understanding and analysis of existing social programs, competitive activity, evaluation of the social media channels ecosystem, etc. Recommendations from this project will contribute to the marketing strategy and plans for the next fiscal year. * Content Strategy -- perform research into our clients' industries and provide actionable tips and advice for expanding their reach in the digital space. Translate these learnings into actions that can be implemented into existing content marketing plans. * Marketing Coordination – get involved in a broad set of marketing activities. Follow up for company sponsored events, both internal and external, including tradeshows, exhibits, and internal tech days. Serve as a critical liason with Sales and Product Management.
