The selected individual will perform antenna design for a variety of systems including reflector feeds, single element antennas, and phased array systems ranging from 20 MHz to 50 GHz.
1.Design of RF components such as OMTs, Diplexers, and Waveguides.2. Analyze antenna performance using tools such as HFSS, CST, GRASP, and MATLAB.3. Support system engineering with developing the detailed design requirements for the antenna.4. Develop antenna solutions for customers, often without firm requirements and challenging environmental or packaging goals.5. Analyze antenna performance in an integrated system (such as a radome enclosure or other frequency selective surfaces).6. Prepare documentation and presentation of results of analyses/design to peers and customers.

Job Description: * Thorough understanding of FPGA design process including requirements generation, preliminary design, peer reviews, detailed design, test plan generation, and integration and test. * Experience with high speed memory interfaces (DDRx) * Experience with high speed serial protocols (PCI Express, SRIO, Ethernet) * Experience designing 10G Ethernet based Network Interface Designs * Experience with SoC (Kintex UltraScale/UltraScale+, Virtex UltraScale/UltraScale+, Zynq UltraScale) * Solid understanding of basic digital logic design concepts (understanding how VHDL code translates into logic primitives within an FPGA); detailed understanding of all of the architectural elements within Xilinx FPGA * Solid understanding of static timing analysis and the process by which timing closure is achieved in a design * Experience integrating with HW/software and supporting the lab integration and complete testing and qualification of the deliverable system * Work independently in generating the firmware design solutions Qualifications: * BS Degree in electrical/computer engineering and 9+ years of professional experience, OR, a Masters in electrical/computer engineering and 7+ years of professional experience * Experience with and understanding of Altera or Xilinx FPGA architects * Experience using Cadence Incisive Enterprise Simulator, Subversion, Python or Perl * Must have a thorough understanding of the Vivado or Quartus tool suite * Active Secret Clearance Preferred: * Ability to obtain a TS SCI security clearance * Experience designing with Northwest Logic Gen 3 PCIe and 3rd Party DDR3 cores * Ability to write C++ and use Microsoft Visual Studio * Ability to write Linux drivers * Basic knowledge of computer network protocols * Ability to work in a team environment and negotiate solutions with Hardware / Software Engineering and Systems Engineering is desired Security Clearance: * Please be aware this position requires a Secret Security Clearance.
