TRC has an immediate opening for an Electrical Engineer for a Manufacturing client located in Mebane, NC. For this role, we are looking for someone with a strong background in Plant Maintenance work and experience working with Controls Systems.
Job Responsibilities	
Manages electrical projects.	
Actively participates in continuous improvement activities.	
Supports plant maintenance supervisor with PLC/HMI and other electrical projects/troubleshooting.	
Manages the project schedule, by studying project plan and specifications to ensure project elements are properly aligned.	
Works with manufacturing, quality, and other appropriate departments to ensure quality, manufacturability and cost targets are achieved.	
Assists with development of electricians to improve trouble shooting skills and set up testing stations to train mechanics	
Aids floor electricians with manufacturing issues	
Maintains updated electrical schematics for plant equipment as changes are made utilizing AUTOCAD and storing all data in central database utilizing Asset Centre.	
Owns LOTO database and updates existing LOTO procedures.	
Supports WAM improvements from QK’s, PM, EHS and other improvements	
Actively participates in continuous improvement activities, including the application of WAM methodology and tools.

Job Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.	
Minimum of 3-5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.	
Ability to read and design electrical schematics while utilizing company standards.	
Must be able to troubleshoot and document industrial automation issues.	
Working knowledge of RSLogix500, RSLogix5, RSLogix5000, Studio 5000, Factory Talk View Studio, Panel Builder32	
Experience with Ultraware, DriveExecutive, and AB Power Flex drives.	
Experience with various capacitive and inductive sensors, transducers, thermocouples and RTDs.	
Knowledge of WonderWare, WinCC, C-more, VB6 or VB.Net, Mass flow meters a plus.	
Working Knowledge in applying NEC, NFPA-70E and NFPA-79 electrical requirements.&amp

The quality technician inspects electrical components for low to medium voltage equipment. 2019-02-28 Manufacturing/Production Workers Tasks: Perform tests on and troubleshoot assembled panels which include both electrical and mechanical devices. Test electronic modules and set program parameters. Use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters (digital voltmeters), curve tracers, power supplies, automatic test equipment and tools such as torque wrenches, torque screwdrivers, screwdrivers, wrenches and other tools as required. Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics. Assist other quality control technicians and assembly personnel where quality control questions arise. Train other employees as necessary. Must have the flexibility to test equipment in all areas. Other related duties as assigned. Requirements: Must have: Associates degree or similar in Electronics/Electrical Engineering Technology OR equivalent electronics work experience of 3-5 years with a focus on quality.
