An Electrical Engineer job in Rochester, PA, is currently available through Belcan. This is a Direct Hire role.

This position is well suited to an individual who has the natural inclination to apply fundamental physical principles to design and construct custom solutions. The candidate will be involved in the design, construction and maintenance of a process units, which vary by industry.

Requirements include:
1.Background in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree or other technical degree from an accredited college or University strongly preferred. Company will evaluate relevant work experience in place of required degree for exceptionally strong candidates.
2.10+ years of practical hands-on mechanical, electrical, chemical, fabrication or construction experience required.
3.Ability to produce engineering designs and drawings in AutoCAD.
4.Ability to understand CAD drawings and be able to learn how to fabricate the specified components as part of a team.
5.Strong team and communication skills.
6.Excellent oral and written communication skills and lead men in the field.
7.Not looking for a specialist. Looking for someone that can apply engineering practices and processes generally across many different industries and uses.

Primary Tasks: * Electrical engineering of all aspects of commercial electrophotographic systems. * Directly responsible for electrical analysis, design, implementation, and verification of electrophotographic commercial printers focusing on electrical hardware, motion control, and high voltage charging system design. Ensure electrical design and documentation complies with all appropriate standards including EMC/EMI. Create documentation adhering to quality procedures, regulations, standards and industry best practices. Execute unit and integration test plans and work with other engineers to insure product functionality. Identify and minimize technical risk. Work effectively in cross-functional teams consisting of Research, Engineering and Support. Contribute to patent analysis and invention creations. Define and author system level specifications. Generate electrical system power and drive analyses. Complete component de-rating analyses. Create electrical schematics and bill of materials. Develop system level tests and test procedures to ensure that the product meets electrical and engineering specifications Required Skills/Experience: * Experience with the engineering and commercialization of precision motion control systems. * Experience as an agency compliance engineer. * Self-learning in complex systems. * BSEE, MSEE degree or equivalent work experience * Team player and strong interpersonal skills. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * High level of initiative with ability to self-manage. * Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work both independently and as part of a team. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
