Electrical Engineer

Description:

As an Electrical Engineer at Vision Products your responsibilities will include designing next generation high resolution, high frame rate display drivers for cutting-edge augmented and virtual reality head mounted display systems. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting system level head mounted display systems, as well as providing production engineering support. Additional responsibilities also include supporting internal and customer based design reviews, training technicians on new incoming production electronics, and deriving electrical system requirements based on customer inputs. You will also collaborate daily with cross functional members of the engineering team including mechanical, optical and software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 5 to 8+ years of experience working as an electrical engineer. • Ability to drive design decisions and discuss pros/cons of designs. • Ability to drive designs from the circuit level up to the system level. • Hands-on board level and system level troubleshooting. • Independent and self-motivated. • Experience with electrical designs consisting of MCUs, FPGAs, and video support ICs. • MIPI camera experience a plus. • DisplayPort video experience a plus. • Any computer vision experience a plus. • Microdisplay experience a plus. Education: • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering • Master's Degree is a plus
