Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: OSS Headquarters in Escondido, CA
SUMMARY
In this role, you will be relied upon to perform a variety of engineering and design activities under the supervision of senior engineering staff. This will include the design and development of electrical circuit boards, specifying components, documenting test plans, building and testing systems. A successful candidate will be self-motivated, organized, creative, and have the ability to multi-task. This individual must have the ability to work as a productive and engaged team member in a fast-paced environment. Strong initiative and follow-through are essential for this job.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, control, and implement electrical systems and products
Familiarity with Schematic capture and pcb layout
Develop manufacturing processes according to global engineering codes and standards
Ensure that installations and applications are in line with customer needs and safety standards
Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and apply new system processes
Summarize data and report on test results
Examine needs on new equipment, calculate costs and help prepare budgets
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Proven expertise as an electrical engineer
Hands-on experience using design and calculation software
Deep knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes
Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
Problem-solving abilities
Attention to detail
Strong organizational and communication skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Revit, and AutoCAD. OrCAD Schematic Capture a plus.
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
