The successful engineer will be collaborative in work style with the ability to both lead and follow. They will also have an appreciation for balancing design between all engineering disciplines and an understanding of a variety of components including microprocessors, analog and digital signal processing, electric motors, generators, large scale heating elements, sensors, batteries, and communication devices. The goal is to design and build industry leading fusion equipment of innovation and excellence.
Design and/or specify hardware for electrical/electronic control projects using analog or digital signal processing.
Design of electrical circuits and conducting electrical circuit simulations.
Direction or completion of PCB layout requirements and routing.
Develop controls and software for interfacing, analyzing and testing of hydraulic actuators, electric motors, power electronics, heater elements, generators, etc.
Design control strategies and algorithms for systems (Electro Hydraulic, Driveline, Vehicle, & Electrical Control).
Design electronic controls algorithms on embedded ruggedized controllers.
Develop electrical power requirements and solutions for mobile equipment.
Provide electrical architecture recommendations for wiring design implementation and manufacturability.
Support current product electrical and software needs, including warranty concerns, quality improvements, and cost reductions.
Support troubleshooting of issues as they may occur from electrical and software viewpoints including hands on work with diagnostic equipment and tools.
Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, and diagrams to support problem analysis.
Collaborate with Product Management, Product Validation, Mechanical Design, and other members of the Electrical Design Team during all program development phases.
Drive the commonality of technical solutions across product platforms.
