The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the development, implementation and maintaining of electrical and control systems for multiple facilities. This position will also include working with control panels and PLC programming.

Design and implement electrical control and distribution system projects independently and with other engineering staff
Design and implement hardware installation and cabling for network and data projects
Gather systems performance data to identify areas for improvement utilizing data collection software
Assist with updating electrical distribution and control system schematics for improved safety and troubleshooting
Collaborates with electrical engineering technicians on monitoring and troubleshooting systems
Coordinate with maintenance department on electrical preventative maintenance
Perform other tasks or duties as required or needed
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field
Minimum 5 years' experience in food processing, manufacturing, or similar environments
Strong understanding of control system design within understanding of NEC, OSHA, and similar regulations
Understanding of low and medium voltage electrical distribution systems
Proficient with PLC programming, either Siemens or Allen Bradley, and associated HMI systems
Understanding of data network systems
Excellent troubleshooting skills on electrical systems
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to work well with people at all levels
Flexible work schedule, including some weekends
Ability to work in extreme hot, cold, wet, humid, and odorous environments
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Autodesk software
Ability to travel to other locations as needed
