The Acute Care Technology, a division of ZOLL is a growing is focused on "beating heart" therapies for hospitals. Fully integrated, ZOLL Circulation researches, develops, manufactures, and sells novel technologies includes ZOLL Temperature Management Solutions and TherOx SSO2 Therapy. Temperature Management Solutions empower physicians to "prescribe" a temperature and achieve it. TherOx SSO2 Therapy is the first FDA-approved therapy since the stent 20+ years ago to reduce infarct size in patients with the most severe heart attacks.

Job Summary
Applies standard engineering techniques (Good Design Practices) and procedures to the design, development, and enhancement of new and currently marketed medical devices, including external defibrillators, external pacemakers, and monitors. Designs, tests, and documents new circuitry as well as modifies existing circuitry in systems and subsystems, including those related to analog, digital, power supply, isolation, and high voltage functionality. Works closely with other electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to design, develop, and support complete systems and subsystems. Works with outside vendors and contractors as required to accomplish tasks. Support Manufacturing and Quality Assurance groups as required to debug or improve existing designs.

The annual salary range for this position can range from $87,000 - $110,000. The actual compensation may vary outside of this range depending on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
