Electrical Engineer Onsite for client in the Tewksbury, MA area (zip code01876) US Citizens Only. Job Description Join a focused team of engineers bringing highly complex, dense, rugged and secure electronic packaging solutions to our nation’s warfighters and first responders.

Client uses cutting edge technology from Intel, NVIDIA, Xilinx, Altera, Broadcom, among others. This position is responsible for ASIC level Analog IP blocks used in our built secure product lines. Candidate will work with a cross functional team including IP, electrical, mechanical, CAD, Signal Integrity and external contractors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties may include (but are not limited to) the following: • Analog design lead and architects to design specific analog IP blocks • Simulate analog circuits across process corners and operating conditions • Models design blocks to be included on top level mixed signal simulations • Ability to create Hspice / IBIS models for complex analog circuits • Block level validation of process silicon devices and system level lab evaluation • Design of analog and mixed-signal building blocks; i.e. bias reference, voltage regulator, PLL, ADC, DAC and ring oscillators • Verify designs with CAD tools • Perform mixed-signal simulations and work with teammates / contractors to ensure all blocks functions together • Provide circuit floorplan and guide layout designs of polygon drawing to meet design rules • Document designs and simulation results and conduct design reviews • Operate lab equipment to validate silicon against system specifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE • B.S. Degree required, BSEE preferred. • 10 or more years of relevant experience in analog IC design • Must have a passion for his/her work and excellent teamwork skills • Experience in the design of high speed, low jitter PLLs and high-speed custom digital circuits • Hands-on experience in designing Analog and Mixed Signal circuits such as high speed SERDES and clock and data recovery, ADC, DAC, Crystal Oscillator and, etc • Demonstrated expertise in Low Power, Low Noise CMOS circuits. • Strong knowledge in Cadence IC design flow and tools • Expertise in the system design of mixed signal circuits is desirable. • Should be familiar with the issues with low noise circuits in mixed signal designs • Experience in mixed signal design in geometries using Global Foundries 12LP process • Some understanding of the principles of root cause analysis, design for manufacturability • Familiarity with design for test of mixed signal devices is desired • Experience working with multi-site team • Good communication and documentation skills U.S. CitizensOnly Must be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance.
