Engineering System Solutions, ES2 is a full service consulting engineering firm looking for interested and qualified electrical engineers for our Idaho Falls, ID offices. We specialize in providing structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering services for all types of commercial building projects. ES2 utilizes three dimensional BIM software (Autodesk Revit) in developing coordinated construction documents. Job Description:

Perform all levels of engineering as an engineer, including the following:

  • Provide competent and appropriate correspondence with all involved disciplines (i.e.: architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, etc.).
  • Design appropriate electrical systems (lighting, power) in accordance with current code requirements and sound engineering principles.
  • Assist with the development of complete sets of fully detailed construction drawings, with clear and concise specifications.
  • Contribute to an amicable working environment with fellow colleagues, associates, and employees to provide excellent customer service and meet project deadlines.

Requirements

3-6 years experince

B.S. in electrical engineering

REVIT experience beneficial

Responsibilities The Advanced Test Reactor Complex (ATR) Design Engineering Department is seeking qualified candidates for Electrical Engineer. In this role, you will serve as a Team Lead and Lead Engineer on several significant projects. The essential duties for this role include: Closely coordinate with the assigned System Engineer on system modifications Direct technical projects that may involve multidisciplinary activities. Perform complex assignments with little or no precedence while utilizing engineering knowledge to provide solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious Perform technical and maintenance support for all types of motors, circuit breakers and relays used for different operations of the plant Independently inspect, select, and implement different techniques and procedures under the conditions of design solution and safety Represent the organization on projects/programs Responsible for the design of modifications to the plant. Modifications may include new systems, system improvements, or replacement of obsolete or unreliable equipment. Modifications are usually on a project basis with design, construction, install, test, and turnover phases Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) "L" Security Clearance Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience or Master's Degree and 3 years or PhD and 2 years Preferred: Professional Engineer License Selective Service Requirements To be eligible for employment at INL males born after December 31, 1959 must have registered with the Selective Service System (SSS).
