Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in all aspects of electrical power and control systems design for industrial facilities and a proven track record of developing construction documents from project inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Excel in working with diverse personalities.  Guide design teams with your technical expertise, fostering collaboration and innovation.

• Client Interaction: Consult with architects, owners, and general contractors.  Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business. 

• Technical Excellence: Technical design and consulting, construction support, and involvement in new project scoping and proposal writing.  

• Design:  Experience with commercial power and low voltage systems design.  Experience with industrial project design is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• Registration: Professional Engineering Registration required

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in relevant electrical design in the AEC industry.  Past experience with a multi-discipline engineering/consulting firm.

• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent time management, and ability to work independently as well as mentor others.  Mechanical & electrical aptitude.  Experience working in a collaborate team environment utilizing project management skills.

• Knowledge:  Experience with the National Electrical Code.  Strong knowledge of electrical engineering and construction practices.  

• Personal Attributes: Thrive in a collaborative engineering environment.  The desire and motivation to learn the latest technologies and practices to enhance your professional career.  Attention to detail, integrity, and personal pride in a job well done.

• Software:  AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office Suite

• Business Development:  Business development experience preferred

Compensation and Benefits:

• Expected Base Salary:$75k - $125k based on experience.
• Possible Signing Bonus based on experience.
• Paid overtime possible
• Competitive end of year discretionary bonus.
• Hybrid work schedule (subject to change).
• 401k.
