Bluehawk Consulting is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support an American multinational technology company that specializes in e-commerce, cloud computing and much more.

Project Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in schematics, layout, and digital design. This position will involve designing systems that include cameras, power circuitry, and LEDs. Proficiency with ECAD tools, particularly OrCad and Cadence, is essential.

Responsibilities

Design & Development:

• Create and analyze electrical schematics for systems incorporating cameras, power circuits, and LEDs.

• Develop PCB layouts, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

• Implement digital designs, including logic circuits and microcontroller interfaces.

ECAD Tool Utilization:

• Use OrCad and Cadence tools for schematic capture and PCB layout.

• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and best practices.

Prototyping & Testing:

• Build and test prototypes to validate design concepts.

• Perform debugging and troubleshooting of electrical circuits.

Collaboration & Documentation:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and software developers.

• Document design processes, decisions, and changes comprehensively.

• Provide support during the manufacturing process to ensure successful product realization.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in electrical design, with a focus on schematics, layout, & digital design.

• Proficiency with OrCad and Cadence ECAD tools.

• Experience with designing systems that include cameras, power circuitry, and LEDs.

• Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other ECAD tools and simulation software.

• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

• Familiarity with embedded systems and firmware development.

Education

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Salary Range for this position: $113,000 - $125,500
