Electrical Engineer

Actalent is hiring an Electrical Engineer

Qualification:

• Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering

• 5+ Years of experience designing fire alarm/electrical equipment's

• Proficient in AutoCAD & Revit

Fully Remote in NYC

Description:

• Plan and develop electrical and fire alarm systems design for new and existing facilities

• Assess and modify existing power distribution systems

• Coordinate electrical services with other building elements such as mechanical, architectural & structural

• Sizing Cables, Circuit protective devices, Panel Boards and Conduits and Pathways

• Perform calculations including but not limited to total system Voltage Drop and Short Circuit Calculations and Coordination Studies.

• Troubleshoot relay and data system design

• Research and specification of electrical components for optimal design to meet project goals

• Perform peer review and analysis of drawings, specifications, reports and studies prepared by other electrical engineers to ensure compliance with codes and standards
