Electrical Engineer

There are multiple different needs for Engineers with a variety of skills including design, programming, quality, project engineering, and manufacturing. Description:

• Lead testing for lithium ion cells, modules and energy storage systems.

• Partner with Applications Engineering to test new cells or special purpose battery tests

• Design experimental and standard tests for new products

• Participate in Design Reviews & Requirement Traceability

• Integrate New Product Introduction requirements into product deployment

• Collaborate with customer and application engineers on test requirements

• Perform Open-Circuit-Voltage (OCV)

• Perform AC Impedance

• Perform Open-Circuit-Voltage (OCV) vs. State of Charge (SOC) @ Temperatures

• Perform Capacity @ Temperature vs. Discharge

• Perform DC Internal Resistance

• Perform Cycle Life Testing

• Perform Thermal Cycle Testing

• Perform System Level Testing

• Perform Overcharge & Discharge

• Perform External Short (hard & soft)

• Perform Thermal Abuse

• Perform Random Vibration Testing

• Perform Shock Testing

• Perform Humidity & Salt Fog Testing

Top Skills Details:

• Electrical engineering, Electrical design, Schematics, Hardware

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar technical field required

• 3+ years of experience with lab test equipment required (Power Supply, DMM, Oscilloscope, etc.)

• 3+ years of experience with software required or similar tools required (LabView, JIRA, MATLAB, etc.)
