Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Manage a team of Electrical Engineers responsible for providing a range of technical support for sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of company products/systems as per specifications.

• Ensure that the team is organized effectively to provide adequate support to customer inquiries.

• Allocate tasks for activities related to project development and design.

• Develops electrical designs of our products to include: single line diagrams, bills of material &, wiring lists.

• Develop and supervise factory/on-site acceptance test plans.

• Create technical proposal and product description documents.

• Fosters the electrical safety culture in the department and throughout the company

• Provide appropriate technical advice for product/systems initiatives.

• Oversee life cycle engineering activities using defined processes and standards.

• Participate in technical reviews, as required.

• Participate in Customer meetings and help resolve technical issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.

• Preferred minimum of 7 years of power distribution experience.

• Demonstrable knowledge of UL 891 Switchboards, UL 1558 Metal-Enclosed Low-Voltage Power Circuit Breaker Switchgear, UL 67 Panelboards, UL 857 Busway, UL 1008 Transfer Switch Equipment, UL 62368/60950 Information Technology Equipment, as applicable is preferred.

• Candidates must be able to understand electrical system diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and be able to perform troubleshooting in accordance with Test Engineer/Shift Test Engineer documentation when required.

• Demonstrated proficiency in or with programs similar to Autocad Electrical and various MS Office applications.

• Excellent organizational skills, attention-to-detail, and multitasking capability.
