Electrical Engineer

Description:

• Designing electrical power and control circuits.

• Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design and engineering software.

• Conferring with internal and external stakeholders to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.

• Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, manuals and documents.

• Understand and working with standards and testing facilities to ensure compliance. (UL508A, UL9540, UL1741, IEC61800).

• Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, and testing activities.

• Collaborating with project team members.

• Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.

• Working with a variety of technicians.

• Identifying potential technologies, vendors and parts for different applications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.

• Proficient in design and calculation software.
