An Electrical Designer job in Raleigh, North Carolina is currently available through Belcan. To be considered for this role you will have a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering (Design) with experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, food and beverage processing, or other industrial environments. In this role you will be involved in facility design using Revit.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering (Design) with a minimum of two years recent experience utlizing Revit on a daily basis.

  • Must have advanced proficiency (five plus years of experience) in Revit with design experience in power destribution systems, grounding, lighting protection, fire alarm systems and lighting layout and design.

  • Design experience should include: preparation of electrical drawings, one line diagrams, basic short circuit, load and lighting calculations, panel schedules, power plans, power cable sizing, layout and sizing of raceway systems including conduit, boxes, and cable tray, electrical equipment layout and Haz Areas Plans.

  • Strong computer skills required with a proficiency in Microsoft Office, 3-D design proficiency, Building Systems proficiency, Specification software familiarity, and up-todate on emerging design technologies.

  • Must have a strong commitment to quality, including self-checking skills, is required and must be a highly motivated team player and able to work independently.
