We are thrilled to announce an opening for a full-time Electrical Designer to join our client's dynamic engineering team in Pittsburgh, PA. If you have a passion for industrial design and a knack for innovation, this could be the perfect fit for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively participate or lead multi-disciplinary project electrical designs.

• Assist in the review and comprehension of systems and/or design layouts.

• Size system components and/or hardware proprietary items.

• Assist in the selection of suitable components and equipment within budget.

• Develop installation and routing details in compliance with applicable codes.

• Assist in the development of project budgets, schedules, estimates, and proposals.

• Define, monitor, and redefine project scope of work as necessary.

• Provide estimating support to engineers.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of industrial design experience, including equipment layouts, cable tray layouts, lighting layouts, heat tracing, building services, and installation details.

• 3+ years of experience with motor schematics.

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD; experience with Revit is an asset.

• Competent with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.

• Experience in MV/HV power system design (substation, pole line, relaying, P&C) is an asset.

• Experience in VFD motor control (LV/MV) specifications/applications is an asset.

• College-level diploma in engineering technology or similar.

• Intermediate working knowledge of CAD systems and software.
