We are an integral player in the development and expansion of energy facilities and programs for major fueling companies, municipalities, utility organizations and independent marketers across the country. Our experience includes engineering and planning petroleum, hydrogen, EV charging, natural gas, CNG and LNG stations. While the scope of our services will continue to expand with emerging industries, most of the job duties will be heavily focused on retail fueling design for some of the nations and world's largest and most respected companies.
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Electrical Designer to join our team! We are looking for someone who is motivated and enthusiastic about advancing their career and contributing to our company's success.
Pay is DOE: $35-$55/hour
- The pay range offered to the successful candidate will be determined by various factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific details and circumstances of each position and candidate.

Electrical Designer Job Responsibilities:
- Develop conceptual electrical designs for assessing project feasibility, scoping, and budgeting.
- Create detailed electrical site plans, one-line diagrams, load calculations, and project specifications.
- Conduct on-site investigations and contribute to project feasibility studies.
- Possibility of conducting on-site construction administration inspections.
- Coordinate projects, addressing RFIs, plan check corrections, and change orders.
- Evaluate equipment design, exploring opportunities for improvement in technology, means, methods, and alternate equipment.
- Collaborate with review agencies, clients, sub-consultants, and contractors for permitting and construction administration tasks.
- Work with equipment manufacturers and suppliers to gather specifications and installation requirements.
- Coordinate with manufacturers and contractors to enhance equipment design.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies in the industry.
- Provide technical direction and oversee productivity for both staff and field operations.
- Make critical decisions regarding design, scheduling, safety, and budgets.
- Independently perform designs using AutoCAD.
- Demonstrate a sincere passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Electrical Designer Job Requirements:
- At least 2 years' experience working within Electrical Design/Engineering (Commercial - high/low voltage 110/220v)
- Ability to adapt and familiarize with fueling industry equipment manufacturers, sales representatives, and various industry-related processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office
- A desire and/or ability to work in teams to accomplish shared goals (a true team player)
- Self-motivated with the ability and desire to deliver excellent client service and to advance towards energy system design expertise.
- Potential for travel across the country to perform site investigation/surveys of existing conditions (Mexico also an option)
- Seeks advancement through hard work, research and comprehension of project-related equipment, regulatory codes and emerging energy systems technology
- Knowledge of Hydrogen system design and Hazard Area codes is a plus (N.E.C & NFPA)
