Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Detailed design of the control drawings for LV, MV and HT projects according to the specifications and customer needs.
• Detailed engineering design according to the customer specifications and GE Grid Solutions standards.
• Production of wiring and arrangement drawings for service projects.
• Identify the electrical components required to complete the project.
• Analyze and propose a valid and applicable solution.
• Prepare preliminary drawings for tendering.
• Present to internal and external customers the documentation necessary for the operation and maintenance of the equipment.
• Prepare design calculations and technical specifications.
• Provide technical assistance when writing bids.
• Answer technical questions from customers and site technicians.
• Check and approve site reports from our technicians.
• Provide internal and external training on our equipment and solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Associates degree in electrical engineering or any other training deemed equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design.

Desired Characteristics

• Knowledge of AutoCad, E3.series, as well as Microsoft office
• Be able to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and ability to work in a team.
• Have the ability to work on several projects simultaneously and in a constantly changing environment.
• Sense of observation, curiosity, ingenuity, and willingness to seek or deepen more specialized technical knowledge.
• Bilingual (French/English) oral & written. (Avantage)

The salary range for this position is 71,600.00 - 89,500.00 - 107,400.00 USD Annua lUSD. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
