The Electrical Design Supervisor at Aqua-Chem is responsible for developing and maintaining Aqua-Chem Electrical Drafting and Design standards, families, best practices, templates, and libraries for the Aqua-Chem design team. The Electrical Design Supervisor will oversee and schedule resources to complete prescribed work for the Electric Designers and PLC Programmer positions.

5:00pm
Location: On-site; Knoxville, TN
Pay Range: Dependent on Experience

Essential Duties:
Fully manage, monitor, and enforce company standards, families, libraries, best practices, templates, master copies of standard units, etc. in relation to electrical design.
Participate in the design of new, special products or modifications to the standard line of equipment in accordance with theoretically established engineering specifications as to size, capacities, performance, and other requirements.
Responsible for Electrical Systems design and drawing development
Ensure final documentation clearly and completely communicates detailed design and intent.
Maintain a positive customer centric attitude, develop talented designers and work well with industry partners and coworkers.
Acts as group leader prioritizing design work of others, providing educational and developmental training, and providing input for performance appraisals.
Works closely with customers, vendors, and manufacturing to analyze product as to production and material costs and develops designs that can be produced economically to maintain or improve the Company's competitive condition.
Provides customer support on issues relating to system layouts.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience/education.
Five (5) years' experience related electrical design and power and control application and components
Working understanding of Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (GAMP) and how it relates to electrical design, programming, and life cycle documentation a plus.
AutoCAD software experience
Knowledge of UL508A Standard for Safety Industrial Control Panels
Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NFPA 70)
Solid capability of understanding and reading P&ID drawings
Ability to visit customer job sites as required
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Able to work overtime as required
5% Travel may be required
