The Electrical Design Engineer I is part of an integrated product team of engineers that design and support embedded controls for engine control applications. The Electrical Design Engineer has an intermediate technical knowledge of electronic controller circuits. The Engineer has experience in analog and/or digital processing electrical design and is familiar with control systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Performs the electrical design, development, analysis and test of electrical components and circuits within digital control systems

  • Implements new electronic equipment designs and modifications of existing designs to improve operational efficiency

  • Designs and validates circuit meets specified requirements

  • Produces designs according to specifications using the most cost effective and efficient means

  • Provides technical support for investigation into production and field product failure

  • Leverages circuit theory, processing system design and development, instrumentation, semiconductor devices and solid-state devices

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder

  • Bachelor's degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience OR

  • In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required
