Electrical Design Engineer - Hardware

Our client is a successful manufacturer with an operation in the Nazareth PA area. At this time, they are hoping to attract an Electrical Design Engineer who will Create and/or redesign existing Schematics and Printed Circuit Board designs for DC control systems and test fixtures Create BOM (Bill of Materials) for your new designs Design filter inductors and main power transformers Test new designs to ensure they meet all internal and 3rd party environmental, regulation, and safety standards.

Work with manufacturing personnel analyzing and resolving production issues, or documentation issues. Participate in discussions with engineering group to collaborate on the system designs Attend weekly engineering meetings and bi-weekly staff meetings which include the entire company. Desired Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited engineering college 7 years’ experience working as an electrical engineer in a similar field Power Electronics, Analog, Digital, and Embedded Microcontroller Application designs Magnetics design (transformers and chokes) SCR Control and Driver Circuit design Ability to use Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience in supporting manufacturing environment
