Job Description

Seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to direct, coordinate, and exercise functional authority for the design, planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects. The role involves reading and understanding written specifications, contract drawings, and developing complete designs that meet these requirements within the electrical design standards. The successful candidate will analyze engineering schematics, produce accurate electrical device and panel layouts, and review designs for compliance with engineering specifications, company standards, and customer contract requirements. This position also requires providing project support, evaluating and approving design changes, and using CAD software to develop designs. Extensive interface with customers for support and design modifications is also part of the role.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Louisville, Kentucky.

Work Environment

Office Environment, M-F 8 to 5 or 7 to 4, full-time onsite required. The position involves training and mentoring junior designers, minimal travel (3-5%) for occasional site visits or design review meetings.
