POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for providing electrical support including but not limited to, programming of PLC's from multiple manufacturers (AB, Bosch-Rexroth, Omron), electrical and program troubleshooting, and limited project support for manufacturing daily operations and improvements associated with the manufacturing systems at Rockline's Booneville Facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Work safely and in accordance with facility safety guidelines and procedures.

  • Work directly with and provide daily process support to the Operations Team and HPOT teams.

  • Provide technical support for troubleshooting equipment and process related issues as well as continuous improvement of converting processes and equipment. This includes, but is not limited to plant electrical distribution systems, equipment or process control systems, electrical circuits, motors and drives.

  • Facilitate the procurement and or development of equipment and process documentation necessary to support the manufacturing operations.

  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and determine causes in order to implement necessary repair up to and including program modification.

  • Must be flexible in work schedule to support equipment downs or to provide backup shift coverage support on an as needed basis.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Minimum of an AS Electronics Technology, a 2 year electronics training program, or equivalent plus 1-2 years experience with automation and controls equipment including but not limited to AB Control Logix and at least one other controls platform. Must understand the basics of PLC ladder logic, HMI and Vision system programming. Knowledge of robotic programming, 24VDC systems and the ability to make minor modifications to control systems (timers, counters, constants, etc.) preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to communicate face-to-face and over the phone

  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

  • Frequent standing, bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing, pushing/pulling and reaching, as well as occasional sitting.

  • Work environment includes occasional noise >85db, hot and cold temperatures and some fumes/odors.

  • Ability to work on ladders and at heights required for the installation of equipment.

  • Requires ability to read write, calculate, interact socially, and reason.

  • Requires good visual acuity with depth perception and color vision.

VIEW JOBS 12/6/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-03-05T00:00 Essential Functions: * Drive fork lifts and box clamps. * Constant lifting of up to 75 lbs., handling raw goods and pallets * Read and understand Bill of Ladings and ST/OT paperwork. * Must be able to print ST/OT paper work for MC/CN loads. * Make ST/OT corrections as needed * Must be proficient with Scan gun and JDE System. * Must be able to maintain an outstanding attendance * Responsible for cycle counts of at least 4 rows of raw goods * Load trucks per email from MC min of 3 per day. * Receive trucks scheduled min of 3 per day. * Ensure all Retain/QA samples are shipped back in a timely manor for testing. * Run reports for received items and send copy with original to MC * Notify Logistics when trailer is loaded and ready to ship. * Keep file of all ST/OT sent to MC/CN Other Responsibilities: * You have a direct and important role in ensuring that all work is performed in a safe manner. Effectiveness in carrying out this responsibility shall be considered a part of your performance. * Must have a good understanding of the cycle count procedures. * Will be the contact for year end audits with auditor at BN. * Keep work area tour ready at all times.\ * Must perform work in a safe manner and adhere to all safety policies.
