This position will be responsible for:

Design and support of automated electronic control systems specific to ring rolling and forging requirements.

Significant supplier, manufacturing and management interactions including design, costing, quoting and executing control system upgrades.

Knowledge of the forging and ring rolling manufacturing process and the ability to handle technical issues.

Coordination, support and installation of various eletrical controll system projects.

Provide engineering support for projects designed and built both internally and externally.

This position will be located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA where 2 of our facilities are located but could travel to several others within the United States including our Homwet Research facility in Whitehall, MI.

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.

  • Previous electrical co-op, internship or experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

  • Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

  • This position is subject to the Internal Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PLC programming experience

  • HMI programming experience

  • Experience with Rockwell Automation Allen Bradley PLC & RSLogix programming software

  • Experience with Inductive Automation Ignition SCADA

  • Experience with Rockwell Automation Factory Talk SCADA

  • Knowledge of Electrical distribution systems for voltage below 600V

  • Proficient user of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical or Solidworks Electrical

  • Experience with industrial robots, Motoman or other

  • Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E and NFPA 79 codes

Working with Development, Product, Production Support, and Engineering teams, the candidate will maintain, support, and optimize network infrastructure services to provide resiliency, stability, security, and meet the requirements of the business. What You Can Look Forward to * Overnight Shift: 6:00 pm - 3:00 am CST/4:00 pm - 1:00 am PST * As part of the Network Operations team, this position's primary responsibilities include the support and ongoing maintenance of the network infrastructure to ensure stability, resiliency, security, and services to our clients. * This position will involve working and resolving service requests, incidents, problem tasks, and changes related to the CO-OP Network Infrastructure following ITIL best practices. * The ideal candidate will lead major network device hardware and software upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and incident/alert response in support of maintaining the security posture of our products and for compliance requirements. * Engage in operational run activities such as standardization initiatives, routine compliance tasks, patch management, capacity planning, SSL certificate management, and network monitoring enhancements. * Support of enterprise collaboration tools such as events/meetings, corporate chat tool, and webinars. * Administration and support of the corporate WIFI network and VPN at multiple sites. * Liaise with other departments and vendors in the maintenance and support of the corporate and contact center phone systems. * Monitor and support corporate and client telecom circuits, working with various carriers and vendors on incident resolution and optimization. * Collaborate with Network Engineering team on operational readiness tasks as projects transition from build to run. * Engage in triage/incident bridge calls and perform active troubleshooting to assist with resolution. * Participate in regular Sunday morning maintenance windows and after hour support calls. * Work as a cross-functional team member in an Agile setting to help complete and deliver the team commitments. * Responsible for reporting risks that are identified to the appropriate team and/or management. Additionally, responsible for managing, monitoring and reporting risks within the scope of your work area, to include, but not limited to Information Security risks. * Actively supports our CO-OP culture and embraces our core values of Work as Partners, Communicate Openly and Honestly, Demonstrate Excellence and Champion Change in all interactions. What You'll Need to Succeed * BS in Computer Science / Computer Information Systems or equivalent degree, or equivalent experience can be substituted for degree. * 10+ years' experience with routers, firewalls, switches, load balancers, and other network related equipment. * 10+ years' experience with network monitoring and centralized management tools and software required. * CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE Security+ certifications or equivalent experience required. * Expert knowledge and experience supporting and maintaining LAN/WAN infrastructure in a large complex multi-datacenter environment servicing financial data and applications. * Expert knowledge supporting and managing complex firewall security policies within a PCI compliant environment. * Knowledge of financial networks, extensive firewall knowledge and transaction processing systems is preferred. * Advanced experience configuring and maintaining Cisco routing/switching, various Firewall platform vendors, F5 Load Balancing and Web Application Firewalls. * Possess an intermediate technical understanding of Cisco voice technology, terminology, and concepts to support and troubleshoot voice related problems within a multi-Contact Center environment. * Working knowledge of cloud computing and IaaS. * Advanced analytical, design and problem-solving skills at multi-product/multi-environment level to troubleshoot system defects and mitigate the issues they cause. * Expert skills in research and analysis, project planning and implementation. Understanding and awareness of business issues as they impact overall project plans. * Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express and document complex technical concepts in business terms. Person must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with technical staff, non-technical staff, and end-users. * Excellent team-oriented interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. * Expert understanding of concepts of project planning and project management techniques to assist in small projects and/or group initiatives. * Participate in leading and defining best of class security practices for enterprise LAN/WAN networks providing high-volume financial services transactions. * Deploy solutions to conform to current and future Security certifications (PCI, NCUA) and CO-OP policy standards. * Develop and maintain operational documents, guidelines and procedures in support of CO-OP's Best Practices. * Performance tuning, and crash dump analysis; analyze the root cause of incidents. * Create in-depth documentation of network environment, processes and system configuration. * Regular and reliable attendance. * Drive Continual Service Improvement.
