Our client is the exclusive Emerson Process Management representative for the southern gulf coast region (Louisiana to Florida Panhandle.) They are expanding their Process Systems and Solutions Project Group and seek Control Systems Engineers with a minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience with programming and configuration of ANY DCS platform (DeltaV preferred.)

Focus of these positions is on configuration/programming, and/or installation, maintenance, testing, startup, upgrading, and troubleshooting, Distributed Control Systems, various PLC Systems, and related industrial process instrumentation. DCS Systems include DeltaV, PROVOX, RS3 and related AMS software. PLCs include Rockwell Automation and Modicon. Flow Computers include ROC and Bristol.

BS EE or ChE with 3 plus years of directly related project/service experience with Emerson or similar systems and strong computer/server and networking skills, and basic industrial instrumentation knowledge are preferred. An Instrumentation (I&E) background is definitely helpful, but the emphasis is on programming and daily administrative technical support of the control system.

Leadership Responsibilities: * Responsible for managing the E&I Department and providing technical and administrative leadership * Develop talent within the department for future opportunities. * Oversee and manage the plant-wide E&I Maintenance budget and control within annual overall projection (AOP). * Resource Management – responsible for the oversight and guidance to E&I Supervisor (as needed) for day to day management of E&I Maintenance for the site. * Provide oversight of the onsite Asset Manager for control valves and control loops site wide. * Ensure adherence to E&I-related corporate, local and governmental compliance for the site. * Safety– be a leader in all aspects of safety, health and environmental compliance for the E&I Department as well as the site.
