Electrical Construction Project Manager

Job Overview:

·        Electrical Construction Department Manager responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of department.

·        Direct Reports: 7+ office staff and 80-100 field staff.

·        Partners with VP of Preconstruction through entire project lifecycle, and proactively develops new business opportunities and relationships with current and potential customers.

·        Leadership, technical expertise, passion for delivering high-quality projects.

Requirements

·        Bachelor’s degree in construction management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.  In lieu of this, proven experience (minimum of 15 years) in electrical construction, including project management and team leadership roles such as foreman, general foreman or superintendent.

·        Collaborate with finance for department budget and project management teams to develop and manage project budgets. Along with monitoring expenditures, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and maintaining financial discipline.

·        Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Field Superintendent(s), and Field Foremen.  Along with collaborating with project managers to review project plans, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.

·        Foster positive relationships and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle along with creating and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers.
