Electrical Construction Project Manager Self Perform, Semi

Tesla is looking for an Electrical Construction Project Manager to work on large scale ground-up Engineering-Procurement-Construction project that requires exceptional talent. Our product portfolio is expanding with never-built-before production lines. The Electrical Project Manager will lead an internal self-perform group of electricians to construct the SEMI production facility. The position is located in Sparks, NV.

• Lead a team consisting of Project Coordinators, Buyers, Superintendents, and craft

• Promote a safe and quality driven culture, both project and companywide

• Conduct constructability reviews of design packages

• Identify project risks and opportunities and actively manage through-out the project life cycle

• Interface with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and commissioning teams

• Ensure all RFI's are incorporated into final Record drawings at project close-out

• Ensure Change Control Management is adhered to for all new scope of work

• At least 10 years of experience in the electrical field and 5 years' experience as a Project Manager. Previous experience on $25M+ project

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience

• Ability to provide material take offs and estimates from construction drawings

• Ability to read, interpret, and manage wiring diagrams

• Proficiency in Construction baseline development, change control, cost/schedule performance and variance analysis

• Excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills

• Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals
