SUMMARY

As an Electrical Assembly IV at ESL Power Systems, you will play a pivotal role in the assembly of custom enclosure builds. Your experience and expertise in electrical assembly will contribute to the high standards of quality and reliability that our customers have come to expect from ESL.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Advanced Electrical Assembly: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of electrical components, wiring, and assembly techniques to build and wire complex control panels to the highest industry standards.

  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and understand intricate wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation to accurately assemble electrical systems.

  • Component Expertise: Wire a variety of components, including relays, terminal blocks, pushbuttons, PLCs, and other electrical elements with precision and attention to detail.

  • Tools and Equipment: Competently use a wide range of small hand tools, measuring instruments, wire preparation tools, and wire harness assembly equipment.

  • Quality Assurance: Review, lay out, and wire control panels according to detailed wire diagrams, customer feedback, and specific instructions to ensure accuracy and reliability.

  • Specialized Projects: Undertake and complete small tubing projects as required, demonstrating your adaptability and skill in various aspects of electrical assembly.

  • Documentation: Carefully review work tickets, drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOMs) to verify accuracy and adherence to project requirements.

  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to all company rules, regulations, and safety protocols as outlined in the employee handbook.

  • Workplace Organization: Uphold a 5S organized workspace to ensure efficiency and a clean, safe work environment.

  • Other Duties: As needed, perform additional duties and tasks as assigned by your supervisor or maNager.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical assembly, wiring, splicing, and crimping.

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Physical Requirements: Standing, walking, lifting, pulling, and pushing objects for the majority of the scheduled shift.
