GENERAL SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Journey Electrician, the Electrical Apprentice is an entry level field position learning to perform a wide variety of hands on troubleshooting, construction, maintenance and installation work for projects and task assigned.
CORE SCOPE OF POSITION
Performs basic electrical tasks throughout the casino and other related properties as needed,
Uses hand and power tools, electrical tool and test equipment to perform job duties.
Roughs in and trims out Tenant Improvements (Ti's) to build outs and other spaces.
Replaces lamps and repairs/installs various lighting fixtures and lighting systems.
Performs basic housekeeping duties including handling materials, keeping parts and tool storage organized.
Maintains current inventories and delivers parts and supplies to the Journey Electrician.
Maintains knowledge of and effectively promotes company services and players' club program.
Attends all scheduled team member meetings and trainings.
Adheres to all company and department policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines.
Adheres to all hygiene and safety standards. Ensures that a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment is maintained.
Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISION
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION
High school diploma, GED, vocational training or the equivalent experience is required.
Enrolled in the ABC, WECA or other accepted electrical Apprentice Training Program with good standing.
Complete Electrical Apprenticeship Training Program in 3 years required.
Valid California Driver's License preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Must be 21 years or older.
Basic knowledge and electrical experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Good organization skills and detail oriented.
Knowledge of proper use and maintenance of materials, tools, and equipment used to perform job duties.
Ability to work independently with little or no instructions.
Ability to work cooperatively with diverse culture, work groups, and across the organization.
Ability to adapt well to changes in assignments and priorities.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends.
