Electrical Apprentice

GEM Plumbing and Heating is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Electrical Apprentice. The Electrical Apprentice will work under the guidance of experienced electricians to gain practical experience and develop the necessary skills to become a licensed electrician. This position offers hands-on training, exposure to a variety of electrical systems, and opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Assist electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.

• Learn to interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to ensure accurate installation and troubleshooting of electrical components.

• Follow established safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others.

• Learn to identify electrical problems, troubleshoot issues, and propose effective solutions to ensure optimal performance of electrical systems.

• Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Must be enrolled in your 2nd or 3rd year of an accredited electrical trade school program.

• Basic knowledge of electrical principles, concepts, and terminology.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced electricians.
