Job Description Summary

The Electric Power Systems Integration Leader will partner with program management, design, and supply chain organizations to lead the overall program to meet customer requirements and development costs and timeline.

This posting is for a position leading the new C130-J Panels program at the Long Island Electric Power facility.

Role and Responsibilities

• Sets short-term goals & objectives and long-term visions for team

• Develops succession plans & growth opportunities for team

• Balances priorities within organization

• Ensures teams are appropriately resourced (people & $)

• Provides technical leadership

• Technical interface to project/customers

• Works with program management to develop & sell product line strategic vision

• Ensures Systems organization meets commitments to program management/business

• Ensures projects are executed in compliance with GE policies & procedures

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college

• Minimum of 8 years of technical leadership experience

Desired Characteristics

• Master's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college

• Prior experience with a focus on managing technical programs and designing and developing new products related to solving product issues

• Prior experience with New Product Development (NPI) process

• Prior experience with Lean management system

• Strong coaching expertise and success in working across the business functions, other GE businesses, and the global teams

• Strong business acumen

• Strong customer mindset

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

The base pay range for this position is $142,100-237,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on April 1, 2024.
