This 2024 election year, we are expanding our our Petition Team. 

Job Description: We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our Petition Team for the upcoming election year. As a Petition Team Member, you will play a vital role in assisting with the collection of signatures for various petitions related to ballot initiatives, candidate nominations, and other political processes. This is a unique opportunity to actively participate in the democratic process and make a tangible impact on shaping the future of our community and state.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with team members to coordinate petition collection efforts in designated locations throughout Missouri.
2. Educate voters and the public about the purpose and importance of the petitions being circulated.
3. Approach eligible voters and request their signature on petition forms in compliance with state regulations and requirements.
4. Verify the eligibility and accuracy of signatures collected, ensuring they meet all necessary criteria.
5. Maintain organized records of signatures collected, including documentation of locations, dates, and other relevant information.
6. Provide excellent customer service to individuals approached for signature collection, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
7. Adhere to strict ethical standards and legal requirements governing the petitioning process.
8. Communicate effectively with team leaders and management regarding progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
9. Participate in training sessions and meetings to stay informed about campaign objectives, messaging, and strategies.
10. Represent Sybil Mobile Notary and our partners with professionalism and integrity at all times.

Requirements:

1. Strong commitment to civic engagement and democratic principles.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to approach and engage with diverse individuals in a friendly and persuasive manner.
4. Understanding of the political process and familiarity with petitioning procedures preferred, but not required.
5. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various locations for petition collection.
6. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to maximize signature collection opportunities.
7. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling petition forms and documentation.
8. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
9. Ethical conduct and integrity in representing the organization and its objectives.
10. Commitment to upholding confidentiality and privacy standards in handling petition-related information.
